Which DOXA to buy: every SUB compared, from the 300T to the C-Graph (2026)
DOXA makes nothing but dive watches, and almost all of them are versions of one design: the SUB, with its orange dial and its bezel for timing a dive. Goldsmiths sells six kinds, from the 1,200-metre SUB 300T to a dive chronograph. This is what each one is for, and which to buy.

We don't sell watches. Links to retailers are affiliate links: if you buy after following one, the retailer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price, and no brand or retailer pays to appear. How this works

In this guide
The DOXA to buy for most people is the SUB 300T: the least expensive DOXA at Goldsmiths, water resistant to 1,200 metres, in your choice of colour. For the original 1967 shape, the SUB 300; for travel, the 40mm SUB 250T GMT; for a dive chronograph, the SUB 200 C-Graph II.
Every watch here is sold new by Goldsmiths, a UK authorised retailer, at Goldsmiths' own price on the date shown.
How we chose
We went through every DOXA Goldsmiths sells and compared the sizes, water resistance and movements from Goldsmiths' own product pages. Where Goldsmiths' descriptions disagreed (two give different years for the original SUB 300T), we left the detail out rather than guess. We earn a commission if you buy through our links, which never changes the price you pay.
The DOXA range, in short
Goldsmiths' descriptions say DOXA launched the SUB in 1967 as "the first truly purpose-designed diver's watch accessible to a broader public", with an orange dial for reading underwater and a patented one-way bezel showing both dive time and depth. Every DOXA Goldsmiths sells is an automatic dive watch; the differences are size, depth and what the watch does.

The best value: SUB 300T
The most DOXA for the money. Goldsmiths describes the SUB 300T as a tribute to DOXA's SUB 300T Conquistador, "the first general public diver's watch equipped with a helium release valve", relaunched in September 2019. The modern one has a 42.5mm steel case, a sapphire crystal and Super-LumiNova, and it's water resistant to 1,200 metres. Aquamarine is one of several colours, all at the same price.
The original: SUB 300
The shape DOXA launched in 1967. Goldsmiths lists the Sharkhunter (black) with a 42.5mm steel case 13.4mm thick, a domed sapphire crystal, a COSC-certified chronometer movement with a 38-hour power reserve, and water resistance to 300 metres. It costs about £700 more than the 300T, and goes less deep: you're paying for the original design.
Deciding between these two? Our SUB 300 vs SUB 300T guide goes through every difference.
The best for travel: SUB 250T GMT
A dive watch with a second time zone. Goldsmiths describes the SUB 250T GMT as "DOXA's return to the GMT function": a skeletonised GMT hand tracks a second time zone, in a 40mm steel case, the smallest here, with a screw-down crown and a one-way diving bezel. It's water resistant to 250 metres, with a Swiss automatic movement and a 50-hour power reserve, on DOXA's "beads of rice" steel bracelet with a diving extension.
The best chronograph: SUB 200 C-Graph II
A dive watch with a stopwatch: three counters for timing dives, in a 42mm steel case 15.85mm thick. Goldsmiths' description calls it a "tool watch" for demanding dives, with a sunburst orange dial, a one-way steel bezel and water resistance to 200 metres, and a power reserve of up to 56 hours. It also comes on a rubber strap.
The deepest: SUB 1500T
Built for 1,500 metres. Goldsmiths describes the SUB 1500T as a successor to the SUB 300T Conquistador, with the same patented one-way bezel and a helium release valve, in a 45mm cushion-shaped steel case. It's the largest DOXA here: try one on if you can, or check the size against your wrist with our watch size calculator.

How we write these guides: every watch is one you can buy new from a UK authorised retailer. Prices and specifications come from the retailer's own product page, and anything extra comes from the brand's website. We check prices and stock every morning, but they can change, so the retailer's page always has the final word. No brand or retailer pays to appear.
